AZURE FIELDS
In April 2002, the Azure Fields ministry was formed for the honor and glory
of God by the Receveur family: Alec, Suzanne, Amanda, and Jesse. The
purpose for this ministry is to help bring people closer to Christ one song
at a time. We hope that our music will encourage you to look toward the
blue fields of heaven when you hear the name "Azure Fields".
Since forming this ministry, we have been able to record five albums:
Higher Ground (2002); Stars Danced In The Night (2002); Walking With
Jesus (2003); In Concert (2006); and Thank You, Lord (2006). We have
appeared on five 30 minute KSBN SafeTV Purely Music Show segments
for each album. The ln Concert and Thank You, Lord television show
segments can be viewed from the media link on our website or from
Youtube.
During the week, Alec works as a full time electrician and part-time
landscaper. Suzanne manages the home and home-schools Amanda and
Jesse. On the weekends, we travel around singing to churches who have
opened their doors to us. We look forward to these weekends when we
can come together as a family and travel the countryside singing God's
praises.
Our church concerts consist of solos, duets, instrumentals, and audience
participation. The songs include old familiar hymns and new
compositions. We try to keep things informal and relaxed so that we can
all enjoy fellowshipping together in the presence of God.
