AZURE FIELDS

The Azure Fields Music Ministry consists of wife and husband team:
Suzanne & Alec Receveur and sometimes our son, Jesse.

The purpose for this ministry is to encourage people closer to Christ one
song at a time. We are a family music ministry that enjoys traveling
together on the weekends sharing God's music with any church who will
open their door. We have no religious agenda and have only the desire to
share our love for Jesus through His music.

As of now, Azure Fields has 6 CDs:
Higher Ground (2002), Stars Danced
in the Night
(2002), Walking With Jesus (2003), In Concert (2006), Thank
You Lord
(2006), and our latest album, The Way To Grace (2009).  Five
of these albums have been featured on
SafeTV's Purely Music Show.  The
newest album will be featured in a future broadcast of the Purely Music
Show.

The newest album, The Way To Grace (2009), was produced and
arranged by
Penn Pennington. Penn is a musical genious who works
closely with the legendary country music singer Jack Greene and appears
regularly on the Grand Ol' Opry. The songs that are on this album have
been composed by various musicians and arranged by Penn to fit the
vocal range of both Suzanne and Alec.

Guest musicians on
The Way To Grace:
Penn Pennington:  Producer/music director/guitarist for legendary
country artist, Jack Greene.
Otis Forest:  Three time Grammy Award Nominee and Dove Award
Winner who has produced over 3000 gospel recordings and has played
for Bill Gaither.
Doug Jernigan:  One of the top 10 steel players in the world.
Jim Kirby:  Played piano for Roy Orbison.
Ray Von Rotz:  Played drums for Boots Randolph, Engelbert Humberdink,
Al Hirt, and many other famous artists.
Eddy Anderson:  Played drums for Dolly Parton and Patty Loveless.
Mike Schrimpf:  Played for Loretta Lynn and was also band
leader/keyboardest/background vocalist/played harmonica for Conway
Twitty.
Mark Powelson:  Played bass for The Kendalls and is also a session
player and vocalist in Nashville.

In 2004, Suzanne had an auto accident which took away the ability to play
stringed instruments such as guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin, dulcimer, etc
as well as the piano.  Due to sustained injury, Suzanne is rarely playing
any musical instruments or arranging music. However, she can still sing
the praises of her Lord.  To hear Suzanne playing the variety of
instruments, you can purchase the "
In Concert" or "Thank you, Lord" CDs.

In 2008, we took a year to work on the new album and were unable to give
concerts due to traveling back and forth to Nashville.  When the album
became available in 2009, we suffered major tour setbacks.  Suzanne had
a total of seven surgeries and was too weak to sing.  Now that 2010 is
upon us, the Lord is impressing us to get back to singing in concert.
Suzanne's strength is starting to return thanks to the Great Physician who
is continually healing her so that she can sing praises to her Creator.

We look forward to sharing the Lord's music with your congregation! Bring
your family and friends for a blessing they won't want to miss!
