"The first time that I heard Frank sing at church, I was uplifted and revived.
Frank had a love for Jesus that exploded from his singing. Sabbath morning
song service at church was always a joy. I would strategically plant myself
right in back of Frank so that I could harmonize on the songs with him. The
Lord's return will bring so much with it including the opportunity to praise God
through music with Frank. My heart longs for that glorious day when Jesus
will awaken the dead and unite us all in a hymn of glad reunion."
Suzanne:
"I wish to dedicate this first CD recording, "Higher Ground", to the man who
inspired me to sing. Frank Bowen's voice would send chills through my heart
and soul. As a teenager, he would always encourage me to harmonize with
him when we sang hymns at church. He would always ask, "When are you
going to make a record?", and then he'd give me a hug and tell me to keep
singing.
I don't think Frank ever realized what an impact he had made on my life. If it
weren't for him, I probably would not have taken up singing. He touched so
many lives with his voice and with his songs. I'm glad that I was able to
spend some time with him in his last days of life. I know that someday I will
be able to thank him when we meet again in Heaven."
