Jordan came into my life on October 11, 1984 when I was 19 years old. He
was my sister's (Debbie) first born and I was excited to be an Aunt. Every
time Jordan would cry, all I would have to do is pick him up and he'd settle
right down. Soon after Jordan was born, Debbie was blessed with another
baby boy. I looked forward to visiting with my sister and her hubby, Warren,
on the weekends so that I could play with my nephews.
On November 9, 1986, little Jordan drowned in a pond near my sister's
property. Doctors did all they could but his life slipped away from us on
November 10, 1986. One can never explain why the heartbreaking things
happen. We can only turn to God and trust in Him that He will carry us
through.
